A Spark in the Universe
There's a room in your eyes
with the depth of a star.
I can see through the skies,
In its heart, there you are.
Is there a reason
We're afloat on this rock?
Just drifting through seasons
Like the hands of a clock?
The galaxy spinning around,
The stars alight, warming the rocks,
The universe ever unbound,
Yet here we are stuck in a box.
Is there anyone else out there
In this universe we sail?
Does this life have any meaning?
Is it simply pass or fail?
Are we alone
In this sky full of stars?
Is there a spark
In this universe of ours?
